WCOD is dedicated to upholding commitment, integrity, transparency, and accountability as main pillars of its organizational operation. These core values have helped us come a long way since our initiation and allowed us to make a notable change in the lives of thousands of Afghans. Our aim is to reach out to millions of others across Afghanistan and be a catalyst in the change of not only practices but the entire social mindset towards developing and empowering Afghan’s life especially women as a major force of our society. WCOD believes that economic and social developments are key factors contributing to a developed nation and hence direct our rural development programs to address these needs.
WCOD promotes the rights of women and children, social justice, human rights, governance, and peace building as well as addresses youth and gender issues and conflict through advocacy & civil society activities. WCOD hopes to be a major force in making a lasting and notable change in the Afghan society.
